Glow Crystal Growing Kit Contents:

1 Large bags containing white crystal compound, 1 small bag containing glow powder, 1 crystal base, 1 transparent crystal stand, 1 container, 1 stirring spoon, Detailed instructions. Contents are sufficient to grow one crystal.

The crystal will grow to a diameter of approximately 2 inches (5 cm) and a height of approximately 1.5 inches (4 cm).

However the size and colour will vary according to conditions during your experiment. Also needed for this glowing crystal experiment, but not included with this kit: Apron, Protective Safety Goggles, Rubber Gloves, A Jar of Steaming Hot Water.

All glow-in-the-dark products contain phosphors and have to be charged in order to attain a good glow. A phosphor is a substance that radiates visible light after being energized. After being exposed to light, most items will glow for at least 10 minutes. You may need to be in nearly complete darkness to notice it. The brighter the light and the longer the exposure, the better and longer the item will glow.

Adult supervision is recommended.
